Gladys Kane

Gladys M. Kane, 88, formerly of Riverview Park, Muhlenberg Township, passed away December 28, 2010 at 1:55 am in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township. She was the wife of the late John F. Kane, who passed away February 5, 2002. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Earl I. and Estella S. (Strohecker) Eckert. She was employed by David Crystal in Reading for several years until retiring in 1947. Mrs. Kane was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her brother Kenneth Eckert of Fleetwood, sisters Charlotte Cotelese of Budd Lake, NJ and Arlene Wert of Temple. She was preceded in death by her siblings Ralph, Earl and George Eckert, Doris Ulrich and Florence Evans.
