Gladys Pehlman

Gladys J. Pehlman, 76, of Perry Twp., passed away September 29, 2009 at 3:41 PM in St. Joseph Medical Center where she was a patient for 1 day. She was the wife of Franklin W. Pehlman. Born in Reading on November 23, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Martin R. and Edna M (Clemmens) Schaffer.

Mrs. Pehlman was greatly loved and will be missed by her husband and family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 daughters Lynn C. (Pehlman) wife of Gregory J. Prodromos of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Denise K. Pehlman and her partner Harold F. Christman Jr. of Cumru Twp., a son Craig F. Pehlman of Reading, 5 grandchildren Nikki Prodromos, Jamie Prodromos, Alexandra Pehlman, Corina Pehlman and Craig Pehlman Jr., a great grandson Zakorias Brownmiller and 2 brothers Kenneth Greene of Wernersville and Forrest Schaffer of Temple. She was predeceased by 2 sisters Joanne Gdowik and Fern Schaffer.
