Gloria Mary Kautz

Gloria Mary Kautz, 91, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 2:22 am at Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late Ralph W. Kautz who passed away July 21, 1983. Born in Reading, Mrs. Kautz was the daughter of the late Carl and Emma (Setley) Pfaffman. She was a1952 graduate of Reading High School and was employed by CNA Insurance Company in Reading. Mrs. Kautz was a proud homemaker and mother and loved cooking with her family. She was a lifelong member of Holy Redemer Lutheran Church in Reading which then became Incarnation Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir, served as President of Women’s Group, volunteered at the children’s after school program and food pantry. Mrs. Kautz is survived by her children Deborah L. Kazmierczak wife of Walter S. “Pete” Kazmierczak of Shillington; Diane M. Gable wife of Jeffrey C. Gable of Brecknock Township and Ralph Kautz husband of the late Tina Kautz. She was known as “Nana” to many but her love was spending time with her grandchildren David Kazmierczak husband of Amber Kazmierczak; Andy Kazmierczak husband of Nicole Kazmierczak; Jeffrey Gable; Ryan Gable; Adrienne Hill wife of Dan Hill; Matthew and Ashley and her 7 great grandchildren. She faithfully attended the activities of her grandson’s baseball, football, scouting and soccer events. She was preceded in death by her siblings LaVerne Lessie, Arlene Dugan, Shirley Pelker.

Memorial Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Friday, January 2, 2026 at 11:00 am. Reverend Kenneth Gould will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mrs. Gloria Mary Kautz.
