Gloria A. Ungerer, 68, of Robesonia, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 9:47 p.m. at the Reading Hospital & Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Saturday. Born in Patterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William L. Brown and Anna B. (Leusden) Brown. She was the wife of George W. Ungerer III. The couple shared 42 wonderful years of marriage. She earned her Masters in Education at Patterson State University, and worked in the Pennsbury School System in Levittown, PA as a Science Teacher for 36 years, retiring in 2000. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son: George W. Ungerer IV, husband of Stephanie C. Ungerer of Robesonia, and a daughter: Holly A. (Ungerer), wife of Andrew Goldberg of Atlanta. There are also two grandchildren: George IV, and Josephine.
She is also survived by a sister: Nancy (Brown) Tapper, wife of Rev. Edward Tapper of Greensboro, NC.
