H. David Miller

H. David Miller, 79, of Lincoln Park, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Complete Care Berkshire. He was the loving husband to Loreen K. Miller (Zweizig) for over 56 years of marriage, before her passing on September 15, 2021. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Horace Wagner Miller, and Inez (Markle). David was a graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1962. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Dana Corporation - Parish Division, and served many years as a Union Representative, before his retirement.

He enjoyed bowling and playing golf and was active in leagues throughout his life. After retiring, he was committed to regular workouts at the gym and took early morning walks on the Tulpehocken Creek Trail where he appreciated nature and wildlife. He was a dedicated Philadelphia and Penn State sports fan and was a long-time member of Lincoln Park UMC.

He is survived by children, Donna Pitkoff, wife of Barry, of Schwenksville, Richard Miller, husband of Elizabeth, of Reading, and his grandchildren, Brodie, Benjamin, and Corrine. He is also survived by his sister, Jeanne Weidner, of Sinking Spring.

In addition to his wife Loreen, David is predeceased by his brother, Donald Miller, and sister, Louise Cunnius.

Funeral Service for Mr. Miller will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Rev. Dr. Quentin Wallace to officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and guests in Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
