Hansa S. Dalal, MD

Dr. Hansa S. Dalal, MD, 79, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. She was the wife of Sudhir Chunilal Dalal. Born in Cambay, India, Mrs. Dalal was the daughter of the late Jayantilal M. and Kalavati J. (Damania) Vakharia. She studied medicine and 

became a physician before emigrating to the United States in the 1970s. She moved to Muhlenberg Township in 1980 and lived here the rest of her life. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dalal is survived by her children, Ami Dalal, Aarti Dalal, Anjali Dalal; her son-in-law, Corey Pierson; her grandchildren, Aarav Pierson, Radhika Pierson, Satya Pierson; and her siblings Dinesh J. Vakharia and Saryu P. Shah; and as well as, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families. She was preceded in death by her siblings Ramesh J. Vakharia and Deviben M. Kapadia. She will be remembered for her unbounded love, easy laughter, invariable devotion to her children, fierce strength, and fulsome grace. She will be missed forever.
