Harry G. Hatzistavrakis

Harry George Hatzistavrakis, born December 11, 1981, passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 43. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Harry lived at home with his mother, Irene Hatzistavrakis, who lovingly cared for him throughout his life. Harry was a very special person with special needs, but far more than that, he was a source of joy, love, and inspiration. His sweet spirit, gentle soul, and kind heart touched everyone he met. He was known for his big, bright eyes that lit up every room and reflected the love and warmth he carried within him.

A proud graduate of Reading High School, Class of 2001, Harry continued his learning at the John Paul II Center for Special Learning, where he built friendships and shared his joyful spirit with those around him.

He is survived by his devoted mother, his sister Rhea Antonellos and her husband Louie, and his nephews Theo and Stratos, who brought him endless joy. He is also remembered with love by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Harry was predeceased by his father Stratos, his grandparents George and Katerina Avaginou and Harry and Irene Hatzistavrakis.

Harry will always be remembered for his sweetness, his kindness, and the light he brought into the lives of those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever cherish the love he gave and the lessons he taught through his strength and grace.

Family and friends are invited to attend services on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Sts Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, PA. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, PA 19611, or to Berks County Eastern Easter Seals Society ℅ Camp Lily 90 George Str., Reading, PA 19605, in loving memory of Harry.
