Jack R. Reitnauer

Jack Reitnauer, 75, of Wyomissing, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at The Reading Hospital. He was the loving husband to Lynne (Nylund) Reitnauer for over 52 years of marriage. Born in Pottstown, Jack was the son of the late, Raymond Samuel Reitnauer and Bette (Moyer). Before his retirement Jack was the C.O.O. of the Phillips Mushroom, Co. Warwick Farm in Warwick, MD. Although if you asked him, he would have told you he was “Just” a farmer.

In addition to his wife Lynne, Jack is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Reitnauer) Hoke, wife of Lawrence, of Casa Grande, AZ and Rebecca “Becca” (Reitnauer) Sterner, wife of Bryan, of Wyomissing. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Coby, Charlie, Hannah, and his sister, Judy Gergle, of Douglasville.

A memorial service for Jack will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM in, St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 2901 Curtis Road, Reading, PA 19609. The family will receive friends and relatives in St. Peter’s U.C.C. on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jack’s honor to, St. Peter’s U.C.C.
