James M. Combs

James M. Combs, 74, of Spring Township, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at 6:02 pm in his residence. He was the husband of Joanne F. (Forry) Combs. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Mr. Combs was the son of the late Albert M. and Dorothy J. (Bennett) Combs. He received a degree in Political Science from Juniata College, graduated from Ohio Northern Law School and received a master’s degree in Tax from Villanova University. Mr. Combs was an Attorney serving in private practice and was a certified public accountant for Kern & Company Accounting Firm. He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Combs.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Monday, April 13, 2026 at 11:00 am. Amy S. Landis will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, Maryland.
