James Millisock

James A. Millisock Sr. "Jim", 75, of Brecknock Township, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 at his home. He was the loving husband to Joan C. Millisock (Harding) for over 50 years before her passing on August 24, 2013. Born in Elverson, PA, Jim was the son of the late John D. Millisock and Elizabeth (Petersheim). Jim worked as a Furnace Operator for Empire Steel Casting and Birdsboro Corp. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, deep sea fishing, drag racing, and hunting.

Jim is survived by his children, Jeannie Mieczkowski, wife of Bryon, of Birdsboro, John Tolland, widower of Judith, of Birdsboro, Stacy Millisock, wife of Roger, of Mohnton, Todd Tolland, husband of Cyndie, of Fleetwood, Cheryl Stricker, wife of Dennis, of Shillington, Anthony Millisock, of Mohnton, Kathleen Zohlman, wife of Ed, of Shillington. He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and his 11 siblings.

In addition to his wife Joan, Jim is predeceased by his son, James A. Millisock Jr. and his 9 siblings.

Funeral service for James will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, on Tuesday at 12:00 PM. Amy Landis, Certified Celebrant to officiate. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive guests and relatives in Bean Funeral Home, Shillington on Tuesday, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
