Jane L. Romano

Jane L. Romano, 72, of Shillington, passed away Thursday March 14, 2024 at The Reading Hospital where she had been admitted Wednesday.

 She was the wife of Eugene E. Romano. They would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on April 22^nd.  

 Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Raymond E. and Mildred I. (Hunsberger) Ibach.

 Jane was employed for 28 years as the Office Manager for Bean Funeral Homes retiring in February 2014. She was a 1970 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.

 In addition to her husband Gene, Jane is survived by sons; Anthony G. Romano, Shillington, and Nicholas P. Romano of Port Angeles, Washington, granddaughter Danielle and stepdaughter Michelle L. Romano of Alexandria, VA.

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM in Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington. Celebrant Amy S. Landis will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, March 20 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
