Jason S. "Jay" Hirschorn, 37, of Oley Twp, passed away on August 23, 2016.
Born in Norristown, he was the son of Robert M. and Gail M. (Hookway) Hirschorn.
Jason attended PA College of Technology where he received an Associate degree in architectural technology. He went on to become a very accomplished carpenter, working for various contractors. He was known to enjoy hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley. Jason especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and had a great love for animals.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Robert M. Hirschorn, Jr. of Phoenixville, Aunts: Patricia A. Burkey, wife of Joseph of Norristown, Diane L. Moleton, wife of David of Schwenksville, and Missy Szawlewicz, wife of Steve of Marlton, NJ. He is also survived by his cousins: Amy Burkey, Joseph Burkey, Jr., and Sarah Moleton.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greater Reading Mental Health Alliance.
