Jean K. Korpalski

Jean K. Korpalski, 93, of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund Korpalski who passed away on September 2, 2021. Together they shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Veronica (Sockel) Reck. Jean was a graduate of Reading High School. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Ruscombmanor Township. Jean had a passion for antiques, and she, her daughter, and late husband would frequently visit flea markets and auctions to acquire them. She was an avid enthusiast of flowers and plants, enjoyed sewing, and had a deep appreciation for the fine arts. Additionally, Jean dedicated many years to training and showing collies.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Kathleen L. Rhode, widow of Ricky Lee, of Fleetwood; grandchildren, Jennifer Koch, wife of Theodore Koch, of Muhlenberg; John David Moody, husband of Tricia Moody, of Mohrsville; 15 great grandchildren; and sister, Patricia Farina, of Muhlenberg.

She was predeceased by her siblings Robert and Margaret.
