Jerry R. Richwine

  Jerry R. Richwine, 77, of Exeter Township, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, in the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Margery C. V. (Robitzer) and Gerald P. Richwine. He was the loving husband of Rebecca E. (Altizer) Richwine. Jerry graduated from Wyomissing High School and continued his education at Grove City College and Temple Law School. He worked as an Attorney and was Senior Partner for Roland & Schlegel, L.L.C. before retiring. He enjoyed playing softball in an Attorneys League and was a huge San Francisco Giants fan. Jerry was an avid snow skier. Jerry and Rebecca even moved to Lake Tahoe after Jerry’s retirement so he could ski as much as he wanted.
  In addition to his wife, Rebecca, Jerry is survived by his sons, Christopher J. Richwine, husband of Kate of Park City, Utah, and Jeffery T. Richwine, of Heber, Utah, his stepsons, Matthew L. Seward, husband of Valerie of Howell, New Jersey, and Nicholas B. Seward, of Lorton, Virginia, and his grandchildren, Madison, Killian, Pfeiffer, Raven, Rory, Charlotte, and Aurora.
  Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Bean Funeral Homes, Exeter Township is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
