John Blessing

John E. Blessing, 75, of Alsace Township, passed away February 28, 2010 at 9:31 am in his residence. He was the husband of Delores E. (Krott) Blessing. Born in Temple, he was the son of the late William E. and Mabel E. (Anderson) Blessing. Mr. Blessing was employed by Exide Battery as a yard jockey for 35 years, retiring in 1998. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Jonathan P.F. Blessing of Alsace Township and his daughters, Delores J. Blessing of Allentown, Darlene M. Schadler of Lyons Station and Pauline A. Blessing of Hamburg along with 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
