John H. Grube, 83, passed away March 28, 2011 at 7:50 am in Mifflin Center where he was a guest since March 18th.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Donald and Ethel (Merkel) Grube. He was the husband of Rita F. (Hoover) Grube whom he married February 4, 1950.
John was employed at Yellow Freight as a Truck Driver for 30 years, retiring in 1986. He was an Army veteran of WWII.
Surviving in addition to his wife Rita, are 2 children: John W. husband of Terri Grube of Cumru Twp. and Cynthia A. (Grube) wife of Douglas Boger of Leesport. There are 2 grandsons: Ronald Grube and Christopher Grube and 2 great-granddaughters: Kaylee and Aubrey Grube.
