John Sweesey

John E. Sweesey, 69, of Shillington, passed away December 5, 2010 at 11:33 PM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center. Born in Oley on December 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Clinton J. and Elda K. (Hartman) Sweesey.
He was employed by The City of Reading in the Water Bureau for 33 years. He was the last caretaker of Antietam Lake.
Surviving are a daughter Kelly L. (Sweesey) wife of Kelly G. Fetter of Cumru Twp., a grandson Ian C. Sweesey and Mr. Sweesey's companion Linda I. Boone with whom he last resided.
