Joseph Edward Gimont

Joseph Edward Gimont, 72, of Spring Township, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 11:30 am surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Cynthia Lee (Keffer) Gimont. Born in Pottstown, Mr. Gimont was the son of the late Joseph Edward Gimont, Sr. and Susan (Kowalski) Gimont. He was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church. He received an associate degree in Industrial Engineering. Mr. Gimont was owner of Gimont & Associates Tax Business and was a financial advisor with Transamerica and World Finance Group, (WFG). He loved to travel, especially loved spending time at his RV in Cape May. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Joseph Michael Gimont husband of Kayla L. Gimont of West Lawn; Steven Matthew Gimont husband of Lori M. Gimont of Mohnton; his grandchildren Ava, Kade, and Dylan and his sister Gloria Prout of Pottstown. Mr. Gimont is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his brother-in-law Paul Abraham of Oley. He was preceded in death by his sister Doris Schroeder and his nephew Benjamin Abraham.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church 2600 St. Alban’s Drive, Sinking Spring, Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church Tuesday from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Mr. Joseph Edward Gimont.
