Joseph Perry Sr.

Joseph F. Perry Sr., 88, of Douglassville, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Barbara D. Perry (Dornheim). Together they shared 66 years of marriage. Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Emanuel and Anna (Taubel) Perry.  Joseph served proudly in the United States Army. During his life, he worked as a Pipe Fitter for Handy & Herman for over 20 years, until retirement.  Joseph’s mission in life was to make everyone laugh and smile. He absolutely loved to tell jokes.  Joseph loved to spend time with his grandkids and great grandkids. He enjoyed the outdoors and camping.

In addition to his wife Barbara  D. Perry, of Douglassville, he is survived by his children, Joseph F. Perry Jr., husband of Mary A., of Pottstown; Patricia A. Ferris, wife of Thomas P.  Jr., of Douglassville; Sandra J. Moyer, wife of William R., of Dornsife, PA; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, and sister Mary Walters, widow of Nelson, of Exeter Township.  Joseph was predeceased by his siblings Anna, Emanuel, Teresa, and Charles.
