Julia A. Carbaugh

Julia A. Carbaugh, aged 102, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Reading Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late Ray R. Carbaugh, who predeceased her on February 5, 2022. The couple shared a 67-year marital bond.

Born on July 3, 1923, Julia was the daughter of the late Morris and Edna (Freeman) Schucker. A graduate of Kutztown High School, she worked in the inspection department at Polymer Corporation in Reading during her career. She loved walking, hiking, yard working, and being with the people she loved - her family and friends.

Julia leaves behind her son, Glenn R. Carbaugh of Bern Township, and daughter, Loraine K. Carbaugh of Muhlenberg Township. She was preceded in death by her brothers George, Calvin, and Leon.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery (Kutztown), 15184 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA 19530, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Bean Funeral Homes, Sinking Spring, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be made to www.beanfuneralhomes.com
