June A. Wertz

June A. Wertz, 92, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Laureldale Skilled Nursing and Rehab. Born in Reading, June was the daughter of the late Oscar P. Hollenbach and Alice L. (Hafer) Lincoln. June was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1951, and went on to work for Boscov’s in the distribution center for over 19 years before her retirement. June resided at Penn's Commons Court for the last 26 years and served as the Resident Helper for over 20 years.

June is survived by her daughter, Lynn Jean Kofroth, wife of Gary Eckenroth, of Dundee, FL, granddaughter, Tiffany Ann Kofroth, of Houston, Texas, and her brother, Oscar Hollenbach. In addition to her parents, June is predeceased by her brothers, Arthur and Carl Hollenbach.

Funeral service for June will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM in Bean Funeral Home, 1605 Rockland Street, Reading, PA 19604. Interment to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
