Kanta Kapoor

November 12, 1938 – October 22, 2026

Kanta, 87, passed away in Reading, Pennsylvania. She was born in Gujarawala, in what was then undivided India.

Kanta gave her life to her family. She helped in the family business, but her real work was always her children and grandchildren, and she made sure they had everything they needed. Her love showed up most in the kitchen. She cooked for her family wholeheartedly and every meal was an act of love.

She shared a beautiful marriage with her late husband, Pyare Lal Kapoor. Her heart, her jaan, was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would have done absolutely anything for them, and they knew it.

Kanta is survived by her children, Neelam, Neena, Sanjay, and Sunaina, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She has now rejoined her beloved husband.
