Kerri L. Searfoss

We gather to celebrate the remarkable life of Kerri L. Searfoss, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, who brightened the world with her vibrant spirit and generosity. Born October 6, 1959, in Norfolk, Virginia, Kerri’s journey was one marked by passion, love, and an unwavering commitment to her family. She departed this world on September 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished.

Kerri’s educational and professional pursuits reflected her caring nature. She dedicated her life as a registered nurse, serving others with compassion and skill. Beyond her nursing career, she embraced her creative side as a photographer since 1980, capturing countless moments that now remain as treasured memories for her loved ones.

Family was always at the center of Kerri’s world. She shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Mark Searfoss, whose love and partnership were the heart of her happiness. Kerri was immensely proud of her daughters, Jullien and Janet Searfoss, each of whom carries forward her legacy of love and strength. She also held dear the bonds she shared with her parents, Ronald Rush and Ruth Ann (Eberly), and her brother, Christopher Rush and his family.

Kerri’s vibrant personality shone brightly in everything she did. A true lover of life, she found joy in outdoor adventures—especially hiking and camping—creating lasting memories with her family. Her love for Disney brought magic into their lives, while her passion for gardening transformed spaces into reflections of her nurturing spirit. She also delighted in baking for others, sweetening lives with her culinary creations.

As we remember Kerri, let us celebrate the beautiful moments shared, the love she gave so freely, and the joyous spirit she brought into our lives. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish her memory and the light she so generously shared with the world.

A Celebration of Life will take place on October 10, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wernersville, PA, at 4:00 PM. This gathering will honor her zest for life and the incredible impact she had on those around her.
