Kim Boone

Kim J. (nee Schaeffer) Boone, 53, of Riverview Park, passed away Wednesday, August 27th at 4:10 p.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient for two days.

Born August 6, 1955 in Reading, she was the daughter of George B. Schaeffer Jr. of Reiffton and Nancy G. (Rissmiller) Wise, wife of Clarence Roxy Wise of Riverview Park.

She was the wife of Randall L. Boone.

She was a 1974 graduate of Reading High School.

She worked as an Intake Specialist for the Reading Hospital since 1999.

She was a member of Spring Valley Church of God, and a former Sunday School teacher and Youth Group Leader for almost 30 years. She also coached field hockey for many years in Muhlenberg Twp.

Her life was her family at home and her Church family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her daughters: Kelly M. (Boone) Hipp, wife of Robert A. Hipp of Macungie, Katy M. Boone at home; brother: Michael D., husband of Sharon Schaeffer of Fleetwood; and Godmother: Dorothy J. Skuczas of Riverview Park.

Services from Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd., Reading, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Robert E. Hinson officiating. Interment in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends will be received Saturday from 9 to 11:00 a.m. at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd., Reading, PA 19560 in memory of Mrs. Boone.
