Leah Hummel

Leah L. Hummel, 95, of Wernersville, passed away April 6, 2009 at 9:41 pm in Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center a resident since April 5, 2005. She was the wife of the late William M. Kalbach who passed away in 1970 and Elwyn L. Hummel who passed away October 3, 1993. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Ross P. and Martha J. (Sheman) Smith. She was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hummel is survived by her son Larry L. husband of Audrey A. Kalbach of Cordova, Tenn. and her step daughter Judith A. wife of Fred Fisher of Denton, Texas. She is also survived by two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
