Leona M. Shelton

Leona M. Shelton, 95, of Robeson Township, Went Home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 1:56 pm at Complete Care-Berkshire, Exeter Township. She was the wife of the late Frederick C. Shelton, Jr. who passed away August 29, 2019. Born in Robeson Township, Mrs. Shelton was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary C. (Glass) Westley. Her Siblings and Mother all had their own Evergreens business. She and her husband Fred started Fred’s Wholesale Evergreens. Leona was full of life! She was a member of Grace Gospel Chapel, She loved the Lord with all of her heart. Mrs. Shelton is survived by her daughters Vera Lynn Murphy of Mount Penn; Linda Lee Franckowiak of Exeter Township and her grandchildren Jacqueline Getz wife of Andrew Getz and their son Colt Getz ; Heather Wilcha; Derek Franckowiak. Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her siblings Fern Rhoads, Freida Westley, Blanche Huyett, William Westley, Harold Westley and Ed Westley.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 11:00 am. Mr. Michael Miller will officiate. Interment will follow at Robeson Cemetery, Robeson Township. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
