Leonard N. Friedman

Leonard N. Friedman, 83, of Womelsdorf, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, in the Reading Hospital. Born in Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Anna (Nelson) and Maurice Friedman. He was the loving long-time companion of Elaine Eckenroth, together they shared 18 years together. Leonard was the head chef and owned the restaurant, Granny McIntosh in New Hampshire. When he wasn’t enjoying his time in the kitchen he enjoyed a good book. He was an avid reader and easily read 2,000 books. Leonard and Elaine loved to vacation together in Ocean City, Maryland and when Leonard was younger, he would visit Cape Cod with his family.

In addition to Elaine, Leonard is survived by his sister, Janice Friedman, wife of Jason of Ossining, NY.
