Leroy Marks

Leroy C. Marks, 97, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, passed away January 28, 2009 at 8:20 am in Manor Care, Spring Township a resident since October 22, 2003. He was the husband of the late Ruth G. (Stoudt) Marks who passed away June 24, 2004. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John C. and Eva (Zeigler) Marks. Mr. Marks was a full fashion knitter for Reading Full Fashion for 30 years, then a dye cutter for Wide Awake Shirt Co. for 17 years retiring in 1976. He was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, member of choir and Men's Bible Class for 60 years and was an avid golfer. He was a Loving Father to Terry L. husband of Karen L. Marks of Spring Township and a Loving Grandfather to Gregory M. husband of Cheryl Marks; Andrew M. husband of Andrea Marks and Chad T. husband of Susan Marks and Loving Great Grandfather to Ashley, Taylor, Haley, Aaron, Calvin, Alexis, Trevor.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alsace Lutheran Church Choir Fund 2201 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605 in memory of Mr. Leroy C. Marks.
