Leslie B. Weaver

Leslie B. Weaver, 86, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 6:50 pm at Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center. He was the husband of the late Gale M. (Sheaffer) Weaver who passed away September 25, 2020. Born in York, Pennsylvania, Mr. Weaver was the son of the late Elmer and Vera (Fox) Weaver. He was formerly a member of St. John’s Reformed Church in Sinking Spring and served in the United States Army. Mr. Weaver was a graduate of Milton Hershey High School, Hershey Junior College, and Franklin & Marshall College. Mr. Weaver retired from CarTech in Reading, having worked as a network analyst for the firm. He is survived by his daughters Karen Howe, wife of Richard Howe of Mohrsville; Susan Davis, wife of Mark Davis of Gettysburg; grandchildren Jonathan and Justin Davis, Greta Howe, Kirsten Weaver, wife of Vincent Ingenito; and his great grandchildren Vincent and Lydia Ingenito. Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his daughter Lynda Weaver, granddaughter Rachel Howe, and brother Elmer Weaver Jr.

Les lived a full life in the company of his family. He enjoyed travelling to his favorite vacation spot, Myrtle Beach. He and Gale were avid square dancers and tore up the floor at dance events. Les was a skilled wood worker and crafted furniture, toys, and other useful wooden gadgets in his workshop. In his later years he was a daily fixture at the Ranch House in West Lawn. He touched many lives and will be sorely missed.

Memorial Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring on Saturday October 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Reverend Susan Weisman will officiate. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard at 1:50 pm. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 1:50 pm. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at Pleasant View Cemetery.
