Lois M. Schneider

Lois M. Schneider, 90, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in her residence surrounded by her family. 

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Lois was the daughter of the late Norman G. Pauls and Helen M. (McGinley) Pauls. Lois received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Marquette University and was employed by the former Community General Hospital in Reading as Director of Community Health Center until her retirement. She is survived by her daughters Lora L. Pinkerton, wife of Douglas J. Pinkerton of Reinholds, and Lynda L. Schneider Conroy of Cologne, Germany, and by her granddaughter Aida Pauls of Rhode Island. Lois was preceded in death by her daughter Lana L. Pauls in 2019.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2600 St. Albans Drive in Sinking Spring on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow at the Cremation Garden at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church on Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vision Resource Center of Berks County, 2020 Hampden Blvd., Reading, PA 19604, in memory of Lois M. Schneider.
