Loreen Miller

Loreen K. Miller, 75, of Lincoln Park, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Berks Heim. She was the loving wife to H. David Miller for over 56 years of marriage. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late, Homer K. & Florence A. (Kiedeisch) Zweizig. Loreen was a 1963 graduate of Reading High, and went on to work as a secretary for the Chemistry Department of Albright College, as well as a Corporate Secretary for Kohl Building Supply. She was a long-time member of Lincoln Park UMC and served as lay delegate in the 1980’s. She also taught adult Sunday School and led a discipleship/prayer group. Loreen was an avid reader and enjoyed staying connected with family and friends through letter writing and sending cards. She became lifelong friends with pen pals in Maryland and Wales, and enjoyed studying Spanish and Native American culture.

In addition to her husband, Loreen is survived by her children, Donna Pitkoff, wife of Barry, of Schwenksville, PA, and Richard Miller, husband of Elizabeth, of Reading, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brodie, Benjamin, and Corrine.

Funeral Service, will be held at Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, 1 Carlisle Ave, Reading on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM, Pastor Christopher Kurien to officiate. A viewing will be held at Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, 3825 Penn Ave. on Thursday Evening, September 23, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
