Lynn H. Mittower

Lynn H. (Henne) Mittower, 91, of Bern Township, passed away on March 24, 2026, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the loving wife of Leroy E. Mittower for 39 years before his passing on October 25, 2000. Born in Reading, Lynn was the daughter of the late Allyn T. Henne Sr. and Viola A. (Jones).

Lynn was devoted to her family. She was very active in multiple churches throughout her life and served in many ways. From being church treasurer to attending Bible Studies, helping out with Vacation Bible School, and attending other church functions. Lynn had a special place in her heart for children, wounded veterans, and first responders. She was a long-time supporter of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Children's Hospital, and Tunnels to Towers. Her grace, kindness, and compassion will be missed by her family and those who knew her.

Lynn is survived by her daughters, Tammy L. Hessler of Bern Township and Tracy L. Smith of Cressona; her twin grandchildren, Joshua C. Wenrich and Amanda L. Wenrich; her great-grandchildren, Hannah and Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Leroy, Lynn was predeceased by her siblings Joyce A. Long and Allyn T. Henne Jr.

Services for Lynn will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lynn’s memory to Shriners Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
