Marie Young

Marie H. Young, 87, formerly of Mohnton, passed away February 25, 2009 at 11:50 am in Spruce Manor Nursing Home a resident for 4 years. She was the wife of the late Nathaniel F. Young who passed away October 31, 1998. Born in Mohnton, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Katie(Griffith) Remp. Mrs. Young was an office employee for Young's Garage in Reading for 35 years retiring in 1977. She was a member of Seyfert Wesleyan Church were she served as secretary of the Sunday School and as president of the Senior Citizens Class. She is survived by her sons Lorrin N. husband of Carrol Young of Mohnton; Randolph G. husband of Jennifer Young and her daughter Bonnie M. (Young) wife of Ronald R. Maurer of Mohnton. She is also survived by grandchildren LIsa wife of Heath Edwards; Scott husband of Christine Maurer; Brian husband of Molly Young; Kimberly Nightlinger; Heather Yeager; Shelly wife of Jeff Nessley and Stephanie Young along with 9 great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Carl Remp of Mohnton and Robert Remp of Shillington.
