Martha Lindgren

Martha Sue Lindgren, 88, of Wernersville, passed away Janaury 1, 2009 at 12:06 am in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center a resident since July 1, 2008. She was the wife of Orton W. Lindgren to whom she was married for 66 years. Born in Morvan, GA, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Griffin and Mildred(Mattox. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia and was an avid golfer and sustaining member of the Junior League of Reading. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Victoria L. wife of David R. Appler of Cumru Township, grandchildren Amy Sue Hatlee and William Ross Appler; great grandchildren Hunter Morgan and Trevor Matthew Hatlee and Sophia Ann and Emma Sue Appler; sister Ernestine Akridge of Valdosta, GA.
