Martha E. Miller

Martha E. Miller, 91, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 4:46 pm at Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Miller, who passed away December 25, 1985. Born in Huntington, PA, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Lushin and Stella M. (Andrews) Campbell. She was the owner, along with her husband, of Sissy’s Take Out in Reading; Tax Clerk for the City of Reading; Sales Associate in the toy section at Boscov’s North and was a self employed hairdresser for over 60 years.Martha loved shopping , shoes and giving gifts to everyone…Martha could shop till she dropped, she was the energizer bunny of shopping. Mrs. Miller is survived by her children Patricia A. Margrave wife of James L. Margrave of Wyomissing; Frank L. Miller of the Philippines; Thomas R. Miller husband of Tina D. Miller of Jasper, Alabama; Pamela E. Oxenreider wife of Scott A. Oxenreider of Birdsboro; her Grandchildren, Tammy Hilberg, David Miller ,James Mulutzie ,Sharen Tassone ,Heather Miller, Joshua Miller, Jeremy Hertzog ,Robert Hertzog and Elaine Gabel. and many great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Patricia Pawling of Cumru Township . Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her grandson Jeffrey A. Hertzog JR. in 2009; her daughter-in-law Pauline Miller in 2015 and her siblings Lucien B. Campbell; Charles Campbell; Anna L. Naus; James V. Campbell; stepsister Belvia Remp. The family of Mrs. Miller would like to extend to the staff at Berks Heim especially B-1 Unit, their sincere gratitude for the care they provided to their mother over the years.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:00 am. Reverend Kerry L. Hicks, will officiate. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home, Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
