Mary Grady

Mary E. Grady, 88, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, December 31st. at 12:50 p.m. at Mifflin Center.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John J. Klein and Mary C. (Kelly) Klein.

Her husband, John T. Grady, resided with her at Mifflin Center.

She was a 1937 graduate of Reading High School, graduate of Albright College in 1941, and Syracuse University in 1945 with a degree in Library Science.

She worked as the Head of the Children's Dept. at Reading Public Library for 21 years, retiring on March 31, 1985.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels, R.C.C.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons: James T., partner of Lynn E. Beust of Exeter Twp., Thomas J., husband of Judith, of Wellsboro, John P. of Schuylkill Haven, and Paul E., husband of Connie, of Exeter Twp.

There are also five grandchildren: Erin, Chris, Patrick, Shannon, and Ryan, and one great granddaughter: Arianna.
