Mary J. Price

Mary J. Price, a cherished figure in her community and a devoted family member, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at Reading Hospital. Born on October 24, 1938, in Reading, PA, she enriched the lives of those around her for nearly 87 years.

Mary dedicated 32 years of her life to her career at Arrow International, where she was respected and admired by her colleagues. After graduating from Central Catholic High School in 1955, she embarked on a path that would see her become a beloved caregiver. Throughout her life, she was a steady source of support and love, particularly as she devoted her later years to caring for her mother and sister.

Mary’s passions extended beyond her professional commitments; she had a deep affection for her family, her church community, and a particular fondness for animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed spending time with friends, whether in person or over the phone, always making the effort to maintain those vital connections in her life.

Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Julie A. Bailey, her grandson Dillon (Ashley Gunther) and granddaughter-in-law, as well as her great-grandsons Dominic and James. Granddaughter Courtney Fleming. She also leaves behind her cousin Sharon Rosendale, who valued their bond immensely.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert A. Gray, her mother, Alverta E. (Boyer), Her daughter Pamala A. Flemming, and her sisters Barbara and Betty.

The memory of Mary J. Price will be honored at a graveside service, scheduled for June 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Fairview Cemetery in Shillington, PA. Friends and family are invited to gather and share in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of many and exemplified kindness and dedication throughout her life.
