Mary E. Shade

Mary E. Shade, of Sinking Spring, born on December 21, 1941, in Bernville, PA, passed away at the age of 84 on June 30, 2026. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mary will be remembered for her nurturing spirit and warmth. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald C. Shade. Mary was the daughter of the late William and Sarah (Miller) Wolf. 

Mary dedicated her life to her family, especially her daughters, Donna M. Radermacher and Catherine L. Seidel, wife of Spencer. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; each of whom will cherish the fond memories they shared with her. 

Mary had a deep love for children and was known as a devoted babysitter, always patient and caring, ensuring that every child felt loved and valued. In her lifetime, Mary found joy in gardening and reading, activities that brought her peace and satisfaction. Her friendly personality made her a beloved figure in her community, where she enjoyed engaging with others. Mary worked as a cashier in the retail industry, where her cheerful demeanor and ability to connect with customers made her a popular presence. 

Her legacy of kindness and compassion lives on in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
