Michael H. "Rags" Ranalli

Michael H. “Rags” Ranalli passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, at Sinking Spring Skilled Nursing & Rehab, at the age of 75. Born on June 30, 1951, in Reading, PA, Michael spent his life in the community he called home, becoming known affectionately as "Rags" to those who cared for him.

He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, remembered for his steadfast character. Michael is survived by his brothers, Stephen Ranalli, husband of Susan Ranalli and Jerry Ranalli, husband of Barbara Ranalli.  He also leaves behind his niece, Andrea Ranalli, and his nephew, Stephen Ranalli Jr., who will continue to cherish the guidance, stories, and presence that Michael shared with them.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry G. Ranalli, and his mother, Cecelia C. (Loeper) Ranalli. 

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a short prayer service at Bean Funeral Homes–Shillington, located at 129 E Lancaster Ave, Shillington, PA 19607. Entombment at Gethsemane Cemetery will be private. 

Michael’s legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched and the family who will hold his memory dear.
