Michael A. Schaeffer

Michael A. Schaeffer, 68, of Robesonia, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. He was the devoted husband of the late Tami Jo Schaeffer, who predeceased him on January 11, 2018.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Russel and Verlie (Reifsnyder) Schaeffer. A graduate of Mount Penn High School, Class of 1974, Michael served as supervisor at Summit Steel for over 20 years, retiring in 2018. He was a dedicated family man, loving husband, father, and grandfather. Michael played a paternal role to his grandson Logan, serving as both grandfather and father figure.

In addition to his family, Michael enjoyed playing drums and performed with various local bands. His interests included rock and roll music, classic films, dining out, and home improvement projects, particularly yard work, which he often shared with his late wife Tami Jo. Michael also enjoyed his annual family vacations to Wildwood.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Bobbi Jo Conlin, of Sinking Spring; grandson, Logan M. Lentz, fiancé of Autumn Citrullo, of Sinking Spring; great grandsons, Grayson K. Lentz and Atlas Jo Lentz.

Services are at convenience of the family and will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, in memory of Michael A. Schaeffer.
