Michael P. Summers, 64, of Mohnton, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at his home, with his loving family by his side. He was the loving husband to Theresa “Terry” Lynn Summers (Amsbaugh) for over 43 years of marriage. Born in Ephrata, Michael was the son of the late Walter E. Summers and Linda Summers (Homsher). Mike worked in the Motor Sports Industry for over 50 Years, including being a Chief Starter for over 30 years.
In addition to his wife Terry, Mike is survived by his children, Jennifer Remp, wife of Travis, of Wyomissing, Timothy Summers, husband of Flora, of Schuylkill County, Austin Summers, fiancé of Alicea Rolon, of Mohnton, his grandchildren, Alexis, Jayden, Nathan, Hunter, Shelby, Nevaeh, Savannah, and great granddaughter, Stormi. He is also survived by his sister, Joanne Hartman, and sister in-law, Marianne Summers.
Michael is also predeceased by his brother, Roger Summers.
Funeral Service for Mike will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring. Amy Landis, Certified Celebrant, to officiate. The family will receive relatives and guests in Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
