Michele Sophia Stranko

Michele Sophia Stranko, 64, of Muhlenberg Township, formerly of Millersville, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 12:22 am at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Michael Joseph Stranko. Born in Lancaster, Mrs. Stranko was the daughter of the late William L. and Georgia (Vekios) Price. She was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Lancaster and was a graduate of York Community College and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Reading Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Stranko was employed by the Reading Hospital from 1984-2007 as an Open Heart Surgical Registered Nurse. She rescued and provided a home for over 50 cats in her lifetime, enjoyed reading, spending time with family, cooking and antiques. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stranko is survived by her brothers Peter David Price husband of Gail Price of Lititz and Jonathan Christian Price husband of Darlene Valle-Price of Millersville and her niece Paige N. Gabrek wife of Dorian Gabrek.
