Miriam J. (Frame) Scott, 92, of Leesport, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at The Reading Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, Miriam was the daughter of the late James Mitchell Frame Jr. and Florence (Cline) Frame. Miriam proudly earned her LPN, and worked for many years at Community General Hospital. In her retirement years, she enjoyed working as a sales associate at the Bonton. 

Miriam is survived by her children, Renee Rozetar, wife of John, of Sinking Spring, Patricia Demming, wife of Richard, of Blandon, James Scott, husband of Wendy, of Fleetwood, Leo Scott Jr. husband of Wendy of Topton, and John Scott Sr. husband of Laura, of Wooster, OH.She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rick Rozetar, Tim Rozetar, Aubrey Pizzino, Ian Scott, John Scott Jr. Lily Scott, and great grandchildren, Logan, Ethan, Nolan, Aaron, Andrew, Aspen, Callum, Carmella, and Jameson.

Miriam is predeceased by her grandson, Gil Scott, and her sisters, Jane Griffith, and Florence Greer.

A prayer service for Miriam will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Gethsemane Cemetery, Chapel of Resurrection, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association. Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, has been entrusted with arrangements.
