Miriam Showers

Miriam G. "Mim" Binasiewicz Showers, 98, formerly of Wyomissing passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 at Berkshire Center, where she had been a patient since April 20, 2005.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles Showers and Averda (Paull) Showers.

She worked as a finisher for Camp Hosiery Mill in Reading for 18 years, retiring in 1975. She was a former member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C.C.

She is survived by her son: Carl R. Kantner of St. Lawrence.

There are also three grandchildren: Phillip, Stephen, and Kathleen; and eight great grandchildren.

She was pre deceased by brother: Donald E. Showers, and sisters: Ada and Erma Showers.
