Noemi Rivera

Noemi Rivera, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the age of 78. Born September 10, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY, Noemi was a cherished member of her community, known to many as a mentor, residing in Reading, PA for many years. She was the daughter of the late Manuel Ramos and Aurora (Mariani) Ramos. Noemi was the beloved wife of 37 years of Hector M. Rivera. 

Noemi dedicated her professional life to serving as a secretary in the administrative field, most notably with Kutztown University in the Social Work Department. Her unwavering commitment to her work and her warmth toward those around her left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was a member of Spring Valley Church of God since the early '90s where she was involved in various ministries throughout the years. Noemi was a devoted leader in her bible study group for many years.

Noemi is survived by her beloved husband, Hector M. Rivera, of Reading, PA; her son, Stephen Falu, of Wilkes Barre, PA; her daughter, Brenda Lee Falu Diaz, wife of Juan Diaz-Santiago, of Reading, PA; her grandchildren, Sahara, Jasmine, Stefon, Amaz; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Jalen, Jada, Jacian, Ryder, and Kehlani; and her beloved siblings, John A. Ramos, of Portland, Maine; Laura Ramos, of Los Angeles, California; and Wanda Lisa Ureña, of Shillington, PA. She also leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews and relatives.

In addition to her parents Noemi was predeceased, by her siblings, Rachel Torres, Oscar Ramos, and Daniel Ramos.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 6:00pm-8:00pm and then on Friday. May 29, 2026, at Spring Valley Church of God 2727 Old Pricetown Road Temple, PA 19560 from 10:00am-11:00am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am.

Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
