Norman E. Steely, 81 of Muhlenberg Twp, passed away March 8, 2011 in his residence.
Born in Shillington, he was the son of the late Herbert and Carrie (Dunkelberger) Steely, and the husband of Edith L. (Fair) Steely.
Mr. Steely was a 1948 graduate of Reading High School. He owned Steely's Appliance Service for 30 years and most recently worked at Ozzy's Fun Center as a repairman for 5 years, last working in October 2010. He was an Army Korean War veteran.
Surviving in addition to his wife Edith, are 2 sons: Curt D. husband of Annie Steely of San Marco, Texas, David M. Myers of Reading and 2 daughters: Christie D. (Steely) wife of Roger Hillibush of Reading and Cathy D. (Steely) Kreisher of Shillington. There are 10 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren.
Norman enjoyed panting and working on crafts. He will be sadly missed by his dogs: Buddy, Cali, Daisy and Max.
