Patricia Miller

July 21, 1943 — January 30, 2009

Patricia E. Miller, 65, of Reinholds, passed away Friday, January 30th at 4:10 p.m. at home.

Born in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Claude L. Yost and June (Heim) Yost, and wife of Lee A. Miller, with whom she resided.

She was a 1961 graduate of Blue Mountain High School, and in 1965 received her Bachelors in Business Education from Bloomsburg State Teachers College.

She worked as a Business Education Teacher at Conrad Weiser School District, and later worked at Dietrich's Milk Products in Muhlenberg Twp. as Director of Human Resources and was involved in day to day operations. She also taught business courses at R.A.C.C. and Alvernia College.

She was a Reiki Master Teacher and a Certified Qi Gong Instructor. She also completed studies in Celtic Spirituality and in Shamanism. She studied Native American Spirituality under Grandma Twylah Nitsch, and carried the Sacred Pipe in the Bear Tribe Tradition. She was also a Water Pourer in the Lakota Tradition, and conducted seminars and workshops in Various Spiritual and Energetic Modalities.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son: Todd M. Miller, husband of Carrie Miller, of Wernersville, and a grandson: Lucas, the pride and joy of her life.

She is also survived by two sisters: Judith (nee Yost), wife of Richard Ketz of New Ringgold, PA, and Christine (nee Yost), wife of Stewart Rarich of Orwigsburg, PA; a sister in law: Sharon, wife of John Reiter of Missoula, MT; nieces: Joanne, Tracy, and Kelly, and nephews: Johnnie, Rick, and Jeff.
