Patricia L. Wool

Patricia L. (Diehm) Wool, 90, of Flying Hills, formerly of Morgantown, PA, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at The Heritage of Green Hills, Memory Care Center. She was the loving wife to Robert A. Wool for over 65 years of marriage before his passing on March 2, 2023. Born in Reading, Patricia was the daughter of the late, Charles D. Barrell and Dorothy E. (Schaeffer) Albitz.

Patricia was a graduate of Reading High School and went on to work in the Treasurer Office for Albright College where she met her husband, who was attending college on the GI Bill. She worked various jobs throughout her life, notably as the owner and proprietor of the Amityville Farm Store. Pat was an avid reader and after retirement volunteered for many years at the Reading Public Library. She was accomplished at sewing and knitting, and enjoyed doing the daily crossword puzzle well into her 80’s. Her cat, Kitty, held a very dear place.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Debra A. Bitler, wife of William, of Birdsboro, Dyanne S. Terifay, wife of Andrew, of Morgantown, grandchildren, Joshua, husband of Grace,

Christian, fiancé of Anne, Olivia and Lauren. She is also survived by her great granddaughter Lua, and sister, Carole J. (James) Struble, of Exeter Township.

Inurnment for Patricia will be held privately at Charles Evans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berks Cats In Crisis, in memory of Patricia.
