In Loving Memory of Paulette Ann Fichter
Paulette Ann Fichter, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, unwavering devotion to those she loved, and a lifetime of treasured memories.
Paulette was a devoted wife to Wayne Fichter, a loving mother, cherished grandmother, adored great-grandmother, sister, and dear friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She dedicated her life to caring for those she loved, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and unconditional love where family always came first.
Nothing brought Paulette more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren, Kelsea, Tyler, Mackenzie, Nicole, Lydia, Dalton, Charlotte, and Bryaden. She celebrated each of their unique personalities and treasured every moment they spent together. Her love grew even deeper with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Hayden, Autumn, Quinn, Hazel, Allie, and she eagerly anticipated welcoming Rowdy, who is expected to join the family soon. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in watching her family continue to grow.
Paulette was exceptionally creative and found joy in expressing herself through sewing, crafting, and painting. She had a remarkable gift for transforming simple materials into beautiful handmade creations and works of art that became treasured keepsakes for family and friends. Whether she was sewing something special, creating seasonal crafts, or painting with care and imagination, everything she made reflected the love she had for those around her.
She especially enjoyed spending weekends at local craft shows, where she loved showcasing her handmade creations, meeting new people, and sharing her passion for creativity. One of her favorite places was Knoebels Amusement Resort, where she looked forward to the annual craft fairs and the opportunity to spend time with family while doing what she loved most. Those days, filled with laughter, conversation, and creativity, became some of her most treasured memories.
Paulette will be remembered for her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, quiet strength, and generous nature. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support touched countless lives and created a legacy that will continue through the generations of her family.
While our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for the years we shared and the countless memories she leaves behind. Her love will continue to guide her family, and her spirit will live on in every story shared, every tradition carried forward, every handmade treasure, and every family gathering around the Thanksgiving and Christmas table.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
