Ralph L. Dreibelbis, Sr.

Ralph L. Dreibelbis, Sr., 96, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 5:35 am at Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center. He was the husband of the late Shirley C. (Steffy) Dreibelbis who passed away October 3, 2010. Born in Womelsdorf, Mr. Dreibelbis was the son of the late Joel L. and Flora B. (Bright) Dreibelbis. He was a member of St. John’s (Hain’s) United Church of Christ, Wernersville and served in the United States Army in Korea. Mr. Dreibelbis was employed by Dana Corp. for 34 years as a steel worker retiring in 1987. He loved feeding his family, friends and neighbors from what he grew in his vegetable garden, which he loved. Mr. Dreibelbis loved to hunt and clamming in Rehobeth Bay. He was a member of Western Berks Church Dart League for over 40 years, was a member of Cushion Peak Rod and Gun Club and was a member of their Hall of Fame and served as a Trustee. Mr. Dreibelbis is survived by his children Estella L."Cookie" (Dreibelbis) Lamey widow of Larry A. Lamey of Shartlesville; Ralph L. Dreibelbis, Jr. husband of Nancy J. (Christman) Dreibelbis of Sinking Spring, Susan A. (Dreibelbis) Farina wife of John A. Farina of Brecknock Township, James A. Dreibelbis widower of Terrence J. Shannon of Spring Township and his 5 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Dreibelbis was preceded in death by 5 siblings.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 10:00 am. Reverend Mark Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at St. John’s (Hain’s) Church Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Mr. Ralph L.
